Why should women consider a career in construction? Within the last two decades women have made enormous strides in the evolution of the construction industry. Women are now recognized as being equal to their male peers, in any facet of this formerly male dominated industry. Modern progressive construction firms have embraced this new reality and are making great efforts to include women making this industry more representative of society. 

Additionally, there is an advent of professional organizations of women in construction that facilitate and support this inclusivity. As such, women should strongly consider a career in construction as it offers a well-paid, professionally challenging, sustainable career path.
