Queens, NY Cord Meyer Development Co. signed three restaurant tenants at its Bay Terrace Shopping Center in Bayside, and two more restaurants at commercial properties owned by the company in Forest Hills according Cord Meyer vice president leasing Matthew O’Grady.
At Bay Terrace Shopping Center, Cord Meyer Development’s recent restaurant transactions included:
• Avo Taco; 2,533 s/f; brokered by Tom Rettaliata, managing director and partner, RIPCO Real Estate, Long Island office.
• Rosa Pizza; 2,770 s/f.
• Monster Crab; 3,988 s/f; brokered by Hymie Dweck, RIPCO Real Estate.
In Forest Hills, Cord Meyer Development welcomed:
• Kyuramen Restaurant and Bar; 2,533 s/f at 108-50 Queens Blvd.; brokered by Harris Bulow, principal, broker at FlagShip Era, Inc.
• Gregory’s Coffee; 1,314 s/f at 107-28 71st Ave.
“Throughout 2022, we saw a post-lockdown surge in demand for quality restaurant space, from fast casual to fine dining,” O’Grady said. “We anticipate interest remaining strong in 2023 and are well positioned to meet most any restaurant or retailer’s needs.”
