What person, project, transaction, or market trend had the greatest impact on your industry this year? 

The return to in-person shopping has had the most significant impact on the retail market. After two years of too many vacant storefronts and concern about the future of brick-and-mortar retail, retailers are again filling up empty storefronts. Creative new businesses and e-commerce retailers are taking advantage of more favorable rents to open new stores.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2022? 

I was especially pleased to be asked to become CREW New York’s 2023/2024 Programs chair. High-quality programming is at the heart of what CREW offers the commercial real estate community. Working with my committee, I am excited to develop our in-person luncheon series bringing some of the top industry experts and dealmakers to speak.
