Manhattan, NY According to Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb and Tishman Speyer, Ruane, Cunniff will relocate their headquarters to 45 Rockefeller Plaza. The investment adviser was founded in 1969, and will be moving its offices from 9 West 57th St. to Rockefeller Center in 2023.
The firm will occupy the entire 34th floor and a section of the 35th floor of 45 Rockefeller Plaza. The building, which was completed in 1935, features Lee Lawrie’s iconic 15-foot bronze “Atlas” sculpture outside its entrance.
Ruane, Cunniff will arrive to Rockefeller Center as Tishman Speyer completes a wave of projects. A selection of new food & beverage options, including the Le Rock, Lodi, and Pebble Bar; a renovation of the Rink Level (formerly known as the Concourse) to newly open it up to pedestrian flow; the opening of Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace for roller skating during the warmer months; and a new park on the roof of Radio City Music Hall are among the projects that are revitalizing Rockefeller Center.
