Queens, NY Adam Heller, Stephen Weber, and Joshua Singer of The Heller Organization, a full-service real estate firm, have arranged a lease for a 27,275 s/f ground floor space at 91-30 Van Wyck Expy. for AIDS Healthcare Foundation (“AHF”) and its affiliate, AIDS Center of Queens County (“ACQC”). AHF is a global non-profit organization that is the world’s largest provider of HIV/AIDS services, serving 1.6 million people in the US and 45 countries. It’s affiliate ACQC is the largest provider of HIV/AIDS services in the borough of Queens, serving over 10,000 clients, and 30,000 community residents in 5 sites throughout the borough.
A portion of the expansive space was previously occupied by Staples. The building, which is owned by an affiliate of Werber Management, Inc., is located one block from Jamaica Hospital, and includes a dedicated parking lot for the building. In addition, it is close to the Van Wyck Expy., the Jamaica station on the Long Island Railroad, and multiple subway lines.
“This is an ideal location for AHF and ACQC because of its expansive floorplate and proximity to public transportation, as well as an expressway,” said Heller. “We are proud to have helped fast-track the negotiations so that this organization can continue to bring its services to the community.”
Singer said, “We previously arranged the lease in the adjacent space at the building for Davita Dialysis in 2017. Now there will be three significant healthcare providers there, constituting a newly renovated, full-leased property.”
