What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

Launching our Sage Connected App throughout the portfolio, and at the same time launching our Sage Experience Guidelines, which are our brand operating standards.

Tell us about a mentor or role model that has influenced your career choices?

A hotel general manager I worked with very early in my career in Seattle named Tom taught me “Sometimes you won’t find the best solution, but when it comes to customers, you always have to try to solve the problem, no exceptions.”

What 3 skills do you consider the most important to be successful in your industry?

Maintain a customer-centric view of your business decisions, have high standards, be able to pivot.

What is one lesson that you had to learn the hard way?

Sometimes trying to help a customer navigate a bad experience doesn’t end well, but the alternative of not trying to help always ends up worse.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Cooking and spending time with my family.
