Ones to Watch Fall 2022: Mary Guarino, ERG Commercial Real Estate

Tell us about a mentor or role model that has influenced your career choices?

Over the course of my career my father has been my biggest mentor. With nearly 30+ years of experience, he has extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate industry. When I was 13 years old, he gave me two options: “go to camp or come work in the office.” In hindsight, he was trying to teach me the importance of a strong work ethic. I was responsible for a variety of tasks which initially sparked my interest in the business. Ultimately, I credit my success to his guidance and support. He has taught me everything I know about the CRE industry and continues to guide me through the complexities that arise.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones.
