Donlon joins KeyBank N.A. to serve as president of the Northeast Region

KeyBank N.A. has hired Hugh Donlon to serve as president of the bank's Northeast Region, which spans New York, Vermont, Maine and Florida. Donlon joins Key following 23 years in positions of increasing responsibility at CitiBank, most recently as managing director of U.S. Business Banking. As president of Key's Northeast Region, Donlon will be responsible for developing and implementing regional strategies for Key's Community Bank, which includes retail banking, business banking, commercial banking and private banking. He is located at Key's regional headquarters and reports to Beth Mooney, KeyCorp vice chair and national head of the Community Bank. Prior to joining KeyBank, Donlon managed CitiBank's national business banking segment and supervised 13 regions with a sales force of 1,000. In addition to his work in business banking, Donlon has a depth of experience in retail and commercial banking, as well as retail distribution strategy, credit, underwriting and risk management. He managed CitiBank's Park Avenue World Headquarters branch and was responsible for leading Citi's branch expansion into New Jersey. Donlon has a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Fordham University (New York) and a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.) He has been a member of the New York Business Development Corp. (NYBDC) board of directors since 2004.
