Manhattan, NY According to Brookfield Properties, Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, will open a new office at One Manhattan West, a 67-story, 2.1 million s/f office skyscraper. This will be the home of the largest grouping of Darktrace talent on the Atlantic coast. The company, which boasts a strong presence across the U.S., has signed a long-term lease for 27,000 s/f on the 47th floor. One Manhattan West, which opened in 2019, is now 98% leased.

Darktrace anticipates opening its new office at One Manhattan West by year-end. Its New York office footprint will jump from 9,000 s/f to 27,000 s/f.

One Manhattan West, designed by architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, was the first office tower to open as part of Brookfield Properties’ eight-acre Manhattan West development. The 995-foot office building features virtually column-free floor plates, on-site amenities, infrastructure, high ceilings, and views in all directions. The tower is LEED Gold certified and WELL Health-Safety rated.
In early 2022, Brookfield Properties announced that One Manhattan West would be powered by 100 percent renewable energy sourced from Brookfield Renewable hydropower facilities located in upstate New York. The transition to renewable energy has reduced the building’s carbon emissions by 80 percent. Brookfield Properties has committed to net-zero carbon emissions across its portfolio by 2050.
