In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? For 36 years, I have been an attorney with Koeppel Martone & Leistman, L.L.C., a firm that concentrates in real estate tax certiorari. KML has merged with the distinguished firm of Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP. In addition to FDT’s robust tax certiorari practice, the firm has many other practice areas, such as land use and zoning, IDA/government incentives, environmental and litigation. Diversifying our practice by joining the FDT team creates a powerhouse law firm that enhances our ability to service our clients.

What advice would you give the next generation of women in your industry? For any person entering our industry, I would advise them to be impeccable in all that they do because your reputation and credibility are your professional lifelines. You must, of course, have a mastery of the subject matter. In addition, being responsive and respectful, and when appropriate, ‘keeping it real’, go a long way.
