Wildes joins Rockefeller Group as vice president, Property Operations

New York, NY According to Rockefeller Group, Michael Wildes has joined the company as vice president, Property Operations, a new position. Wildes, who is based in the company’s New York headquarters, has nearly 20 years of experience in New York City property management and building operations. He joins Rockefeller Group from SL Green Realty Corp., where he was vice president, Portfolio Manager.  

At Rockefeller Group, Wildes will oversee all aspects of property and facilities management for the company’s New York office portfolio, which totals approximately 6 million s/f, including 1221 and 1271 Ave. of the Americas. In this capacity, he and his team will focus on enhancing the experience of the company’s office buildings for all tenants and visitors through portfolio-wide strategic planning and management, facilities management and coordination of capital projects among various teams. 

“Michael has extensive experience in commercial real estate with management expertise from the portfolio level down to the detailed day-to-day operations of class-A Manhattan buildings,” said Marisa Gadlin, Rockefeller Group’s senior vice president, Core Holdings. “He is a great addition to our existing Property Management team throughout our New York portfolio, and he will be a valued partner to our tenants.”

Prior to joining Rockefeller Group, Wildes spent more than 12 years with SL Green Realty Corp., where he held various responsibilities – from the management of a 6.8 million s/f portfolio of managed properties to property manager roles for 1515 Broadway and 711 Third Ave. From 2009 to 2014, he served as assistant property manager, overseeing the development of operating and capital budgets for six Manhattan office buildings, including 180 Maiden Ln., 110 East 42nd St., and 215 Park Ave. South.  He started his career in 2005 as an operating engineer with Joseph P. Day Realty Corp.

Wildes holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Adelphi University in Long Island, NY.
