New York, NY Professional Women in Construction (PWC) New York hosted its “Salute to Women of Achievement” dinner at The View at Battery Park on September 21, where three executives were recognized for their outstanding careers and contributions to empowering women in the AEC industry. The evening’s honorees include Victoria Cerami, CEO Emeritus of Cerami & Associates, Sheela Maini Søgaard, partner & CEO of Bjarke Ingels Group, and Elizabeth Velez, president of the Velez Organization.
Collectively, Cerami, Søgaard and Velez have made tremendous contributions to the New York City construction industry through strategic leadership, projects, mentorship, and involvement in civic and professional causes. Each of the honorees received an original piece of artwork by New York-based artists Chelsea Best.
