New York, NY Dib Management, a locally-based real estate development and management firm, has named Danielle Dib as vice president of business development & finance.
In her new position, Dib will lead the company through its growth period with new acquisition and asset positioning.
Prior to joining Dib Management Dib was an underwriter for Valley National Bank in the city for three years. There she was formally credit trained and worked on the Commercial Real Estate Team, underwriting all asset types such as industrial, multi-family, commercial, and residential totaling over $400 million in loans. Her work there consisted of calculating financial risk and reward in lending money based on the asset, principle and market factors. Prior to Valley National Dib participated in the development of 124 W Houston, the location where Bob Dylan previously had his studio. Dib supervised the entire interior design and execution of the work. Her design of the penthouse at 124 W Houston was featured in Architectural Digest.
Dib received a master’s degree in Real Estate Development (MSRED) from Columbia University in 2021, and bachelor’s degree in International Business from Loyola University Maryland in 2016.
“I met my first challenge right after I joined the family business with the newest acquisition of 5714 1st Ave,” said Dib. “We are no longer a small company and have grown from a small family business to an established leading owner, operator and developer of international real estate. I feel blessed to continue the journey and be part of what my family has built.”
When she is not working, Dib, who has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia, enjoys running, skiing, cooking and reading.
