New York, NY NYC Housing Partnership has appointed Theresa Omansky as general counsel. Omansky has extensive legal experience working on affordable housing transactions utilizing tax-exempt bond financing, tax credit allocations and acquisition, construction and permanent financing.
Prior to joining the Housing Partnership, Omansky was an associate counsel at the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY), where she provided legal advice and support on the FHLBNY Affordable Housing Program and to other operational and service departments. Earlier in her career she served as real estate finance associate at the law firms of Emmet, Marvin & Martin, LLP and Robinson + Cole LLP, representing institutional lenders on complex affordable housing financing transactions.
Omansky received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and earned her undergraduate degree from Douglass College, at Rutgers University.
