Teaneck, NJ Butterflake Bakery, a Bergen County institution that opened in 1950, will be opening a second location. The second site, located at 444 Cedar Ln., will be used as a commissary and as a Passover retail location. Katz & Associates’ Jonathan Greenberg represented Butterflake Bakery in the deal; NIA National Realty represented the landlord. The new space is slated to open in Q1 2023.
“We’re thankful to the community for years of patronage and we wanted additional space to meet the demand,” said Richie Heisler, owner of Butterflake Bakery. “We are thrilled with the space that Jonathan Greenberg helped procure. Its proximity to the existing store makes great sense from a logistics standpoint in general and especially for our additional output around Passover time.”
Greenberg, director at Katz & Associates said, “I love what I do and it’s a bonus to work on a deal that benefits my hometown. Working with Richie Heisler to help expand Butterflake’s offering has been a blessing and I know that area residents will be excited when they hear the news.”
