New York, NY Nearly 300 New York real estate professionals attended Jewish National Fund-USA’s Leonard Litwin New York City Real Estate Tree of Life Gala at The Pierre Hotel to honor industry leaders for their tremendous professional and philanthropic accomplishments.
The event was dedicated in memory of Stanley Chera and honored Haim Chera, executive vice president, head of Retail, Vornado Realty Trust, and Glen Weiss, executive vice president, co-head of Real Estate, Vornado Realty Trust, with Jewish National Fund-USA’s prestigious Tree of Life Award, which recognizes outstanding community involvement.
The gala also honored Roy Kirsh, principal, Urban Company RE, with the Gregory A. Davis Leadership Award. The award was established in memory of Gregory A. Davis, the founder of JNFuture, Jewish National Fund-USA’s community of young philanthropists ages 22-40 who are dedicated leaders with a passion for supporting the land and people of Israel.
Founder of Douglaston Development, Jeffrey Levine, and David Greenbaum, vice president of Vornado Realty Trust were the event’s honorary chairs. Lloyd Goldman, founder of BLDG Management, opened the program, and Steve Roth, chairman of Vornado Realty Trust, presented the awards to the honorees. Attendees included industry leaders such as Ofer Yardeni, Bess Freedman, and Gary Jacob, among others.
