CBRE expands Multifamily Debt and Structured Finance team
New York, NY CBRE is expanding its Tri-State Debt and Structured Finance team with Matthew Klauer and Matthew Hirsch joining as senior vice presidents to focus on the multifamily sector.
Klauer and Hirsch have extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry and specialize in providing financing solutions for multifamily sponsors and lenders across the U.S. Based in New York City, they will complement CBRE’s market-leading multifamily finance teams that closed $43 billion in loan production and $17 billion in agency debt in the U.S. during 2021.
“Matt and Matt are extremely accomplished and respected senior executives with a deep understanding of the multifamily sector,” said Brian Stoffers, global president of Debt & Structured Finance for CBRE. “They will further expand and differentiate the breadth of strategic advice we provide to our multifamily clients throughout the New York Tri-State region.”
Klauer and Hirsch both join CBRE from Greystone & Co., where they held senior roles with the firm’s capital advisory team. Together, they have been involved in more than $10 billion in capital markets activity over the last five years.
