McCluskey joins Savills as senior managing director
New York, NY Angela McCluskey has joined Savills as a senior managing director. McCluskey is a former director of real estate strategy and operations at global law firm DLA Piper LLP and former global head of corporate real estate for Ares Management Corp. She will work alongside Savills vice chairmen Jeffrey Peck and Daniel Horowitz, and their team, at the firm’s 399 Park Ave. location.

Considering her background in leading the global real estate strategy in both law and financial services, Angela’s arrival further positions the firm to be the premier tenant advocate in a time of tremendous change and evolving real estate needs,” said Janet Woods, vice chairman and Northeast region lead for Savills.
McCluskey will be responsible for advocating for tenants in all aspects of their real estate needs, most notably real estate strategy and transaction management. In addition, she will work closely with the firm’s key business functions, including its workplace, workforce strategy and project management groups to provide clients with a full suite of services.
“Jeff and Dan are two of the best in the business when it comes to representing the interests of their clients. Angela, who has an established track record of success working for global firms, will serve as an integral member of their team,” said Woods.
McCluskey brings 20 plus years of real estate experience to Savills. Over the course of her career, she has been responsible for managing more than 2.8 million s/f of real estate across 85 locations in 12 countries and four continents.
In addition, she specializes across all facets of corporate real estate, most notably designing creative strategies and initiatives to improve occupancy and operational efficiencies and reduce costs for global financial services and professional services organizations. McCluskey achieves this through a mastery of lease negotiation, portfolio optimization, change management, budget and cost forecasting and construction project management.
McCluskey attended West Virginia State University and Capella University and holds a bachelor’s in business administration.
