What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?
Recently I’ve been working with some of our clients to help plan electrification retrofits. It’s exciting to see so many stakeholders on the state, regulatory and local level working together to promote these types of projects, but it can be challenging for building owners to navigate all the new funding opportunities that have become available in recent years. From the early planning stages through implementation, I help our internal teams and our clients understand how to offset their costs through various funding streams, and incorporate their compliance requirements as well.
What led you to your current profession?
I spent a brief season during college working in nuclear logistics. I was only there for a few months, but I quickly realized that storing spent fuel is rather terrifying and not the career path for me! I decided that I wanted to focus my interest specifically on renewables and building efficiency, which is what led me to Bright Power. At Bright Power, I lead our policy efforts, and I also work behind the scenes consulting with our teams on green building legislation and incentive program opportunities.
