Queens College Business Forum (QCBF) to hold breakfast meeting on October 3

The Queens College Business Forum (QCBR) will hold a breakfast meeting on October 3 at Queens College. The guest speakers include: * Senator Kemp Hannon, 6th district, NYS senate chair, NYS senate standing committee on health. He will discuss the challenges to healthcare in our changing economy. He is recognized as the principal architect of the state's Health Care Reform Act (HCRA). He is responsible for numerous laws on the importance of preventative medicine, medical research, and treatment of disease. He supports legislation in the areas of long-term care, health insurance, women's health issues, and organ donation. * Dr. Burton Grebin, president and CEO of St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children, has led a small inpatient facility in Bayside to become a national leader in inpatient, home, and community programs.
