Hauppauge, NY Mark Design Studios, a Hicksville-based architecture firm, has completed the creative redesign at Renaissance Hills, a 656-unit affordable luxury residential complex located at 1710 Devonshire Rd., which will break ground in fall 2021.
Mark Design Studios undertook a $2.5 million redesign of the existing apartments, plus a ground-up vision for the clubhouse, pool, fitness center and other newly built facilities, for a complete overhaul of the property into an attainable luxury development.
The complex offers five-star amenities including two resort-style swimming pools, a sports court, a dog park, an outdoor BBQ and dining area, a playground, and a fitness & wellness room complete with Matrix equipment. A clubhouse is positioned as the hub of the complex set among park-like grounds.
“It’s a pleasure to design a complex like this from the ground up, developing both interior and outdoor spaces and amenities,” said Michael Mark, AIA, principal of Mark Design Studios Architecture, PC. “There are many details that go into a project like this that can make or break the residential experience or make it too expensive to be practical. I am especially proud of what our firm has done for the re-imagined multifamily luxury living experience.”
“This is a trendsetting project from a forward-thinking client who asked us to combine our creative architectural and interior design services to bring their vision to life,” said Irene Yim, IIDA, ASID, director of design. “Our seamless approach to the overall design development, from the site planning down to the millwork details, brings cohesiveness and value, offering the residents a practical lifestyle with a sense of luxury and tranquility.”
“Not only are we improving amenity spaces by providing a top-notched health and wellness club house; we are also continually improving the interiors of each apartment,” said Joseph Kazarnovsky of Renaissance Management Group, Inc. of New Jersey. “Improvements include the use of upscale finishes such as quartz countertop, stainless steel appliances, and soaking bathtubs- all tastefully designed for our discerning residents.”
