Flatrate Moving opens first retail experience store at 936 Broadway
Manhattan, NY FlatRate Moving, one of the city’s most recommended movers, opened its first retail experience store at 936 Broadway, near the Flatiron Building.
The 5,000 s/f store, named “The Box Store,” offers a variety of packing supplies and services in one location, including accessories for everyday home needs and moving days.
“This new retail store is all about creating a successful moving experience. Planning and packing are important for a successful move and people’s possessions need special care that we can provide,” said Sharone Ben Harosh founder of FlatRate Moving. “This will be the most comprehensive boxes store in New York, offering more than 300 different packing products, shipping services, pickup and drop off location for boxes, and more. The store will showcase the services and solutions for moving and packing. We will also offer moving consultation on planning a move, including packing workshops for customers to learn how to pack properly.”
Last year, the New York Times reported that moves between March 15 and April 28 increased – to Connecticut by 74%; to Long Island by 48%; to New Jersey by 38 percent, according to figures provided by FlatRate Moving.
“The Box Store by FlatRate Moving” will also offer “Valet by FlatRate Storage,” a new service allowing customers to drop off or pick up items stored at any FlatRate Storage Unit in the country. Other new services include:
