New York, NY R.Y. Management Co., Inc., one of the metropolitan area’s leading property management companies, has promoted Diana Bosnjak to senior vice president, and Daniel Durante to vice president, according to Robert Vaccarello, president of R.Y. Management.
Bosnjak, a resident of Levittown, NY, has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president. She began her career at R.Y. Management in 1989 as a receptionist and has held various positions, including executive assistant, property manager, and director of administration. In June 2000, she was promoted to an officer of the company as an assistant vice president and subsequently to vice president in 2005. Bosnjak manages a portfolio of luxury condominiums, cooperatives, market-rate rental properties, and rent-stabilized apartments and oversees various administrators and administrative functions at R.Y. Management’s Manhattan-based headquarters.
Durante has been promoted from district manager to vice president. The Brooklyn resident started his real estate career 30 years ago working as a doorman while studying urban development and communications at Hunter College, where he earned his bachelor of arts degree.
Durante held head concierge, superintendent, and construction management positions before entering into a property management career at R.Y. Management in 1999. He presently supervises six property managers overseeing 3,120 units and is responsible for the operations and financial success of the properties under his management.
Durante studied real estate at NYU, where he earned the designation as Registered Apartment Manager and later received an Accredited Residential Managers designation from IREM. He has been recognized by the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York, where he was awarded the “Emma Lazarus Award” in 2005; in 2019, he was named “Humanitarian of the Year” by IREM.
“Diana and Daniel are two highly regarded property management professionals and longtime, valued employees of R.Y. Management who have both greatly contributed to the company’s growth and success,” said Vaccarello. “Recognizing their achievements through executive-level advancement validates their hard work, and I speak on behalf of all of our employees and clients, offering our congratulations on their well-earned promotions.”
