Steiner and seven partners from Thelan to join the DLA Piper team

According to DLA Piper, eight partners will be joining the firm's corporate and finance practice in N.Y. and London.  Led by Jeffrey Steiner, the group will bring one of the world's leading real estate and structured finance practices.  Steiner will join DLA Piper from Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner, where he was a name partner, and has been co-chair of business and finance, and chair of real estate.  He will become co-chair of the U.S. finance group, and will join with seven additional partners: Scott Weinberg, Robert Unger, Rand Peppas, Marc Friedman, Kenneth MacCallum, Robert Mower and Jason Goldstein. Steiner, Weinberg, Unger, Peppas, MacCallum and Goldstein will be based in N.Y., while Friedman and Mower will practice in London.
