REPI to hold annual fall luncheon - October 23

September 15, 2008 - Long Island
An event for all those who want to meet and greet decision-makers and movers and shakers in the real estate industry will take place on October 23 at the Milleridge Cottage. It is the annual luncheon hosted by the Real Estate Practitioners Institute (REPI), the premier provider of real estate education on Long Island. The industry will be turning out for this luncheon which traditionally features an expert in a particular field; a speaker whose scope of knowledge and experience make for interesting listening and questioning. On this occasion, Russell Albanese, president of The Albanese Organization, Inc., will address the group with a talk entitled "Dollars and Sense: The Value of Green Development." The Albanese Organization is a 60 year old real estate investment, development and management company based in Garden City. The company has won world-wide acclaim for The Solaire, America's first environmentally responsible residential tower located in Battery Park City. Albanese is a founding member of the US Green Building Counsel's New York City Chapter and serves as co-chair of the environmental committee of the New York Building Congress. REPI's luncheon will start with cocktails at 11:45 with lunch at 12:30. Cost is $55 per person. Please RSVP by October 9.
