Commack, NY Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing global franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the U.S., has leased 20,000 s/f at Mayfair Shopping Center. Levin Management Corp. (LMC) is exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 221,000 s/f Long Island shopping center.
LMC Leasing Representative E.J. Moawad represented the property in negotiating the long-term transaction; Jack Chera of Crown Retail Services (CRS) represented the tenant.
The new Mayfair Shopping Center facility will be corporate-owned and managed by Planet Fitness, a distinguishing quality as more than 95% of the brand’s locations are franchisee-owned.

The center’s national and regional tenants includes Rite Aid, Loft, Sherwin Williams, Northwell Go Health, Capital One Bank, Verizon Wireless, Prato 850, The Tutoring Center, Music & Arts, Outback Steakhouse, Tropical Smoothie and GameStop, among others.
