Which project, deal, or transaction was the “game-changer” in the advancement of your career?
There has not been just one project or deal that was a “game changer”, every deal has taught me lessons I will need to further advance in my career. Whether classified as a big deal or small, each deal has helped me add value to the services I provide to my clients and create more off-market opportunities. The focus on creating personal relationships with clients has been the “game-changer” in this business and has brought in many unique deals that have helped grow this company.
How do you contribute to your community or your profession?
Contributing to the community is something that is important to me, being heavily involved in my local church, participating in fundraisers and food drives. Throughout college it was always important to help the community and I was involved in many blood banks as well as delivering food to the less fortunate. I take any opportunity I can get to help the people that need it and the smile on their face and the joy that it brings them is more than enough to continue helping out the community.
What led you to your current profession?
Ever since I could remember I was always intrigued by the real estate market especially in NYC. The constant fluctuations in market made it that much more interesting and the day I turned 18 I went and took the real estate course. Once licensed I made sure I learned everything I could about NYC real estate and that is where Skyline came in and taught me everything I needed to know about the industry. Meeting the people that you meet in this industry was also something I looked forward to because you never know what you will learn from your clients.
Who or what inspires you?
My inspiration would have to come from my father, all the values he instilled in me from a young age have played an important role to where I am today. Without hard work, dedication, perseverance, and a certain sense of joy in one’s work, then it will be hard to be successful in any field you want to be in. He has shown me that no matter where you are from you can always make it happen you just can’t get discouraged when somethings don’t go as planned.
