Binghamton, NY Cushman & Wakefield/Pyramid Brokerage Company has unveiled its management transition for its local office which serves the Southern Tier, including Ithaca, Corning and Elmira.
Maureen Wilson has been president of Pyramid Brokerage Company of Binghamton, Inc., since 2000 when Pyramid Brokerage Company merged with Robert Mead and Associates. Wilson will transition to a new role and will become VP of business development.
Leo Jones, associate real estate broker and member of the Pyramid Brokerage Company Management Team, will become president of Pyramid Brokerage Co. of Binghamton, Inc.
Bruce Cook will become a member of the overall company’s management team. He will focus on business development, recruiting, mentoring and supporting Jones.
Wilson will focus on expanding her extensive current relationships and developing new ones. She will also stay active on all the boards in which she participates and with all the volunteer organizations she has such a passion for. Wilson has been in the commercial real estate business for 34 years and holds both the CCIM and the SIOR designations. Wilson has completed some of the largest commercial real estate transactions in the Southern Tier and has handled a broad range of transactions including retail, office, industrial and investment. Wilson has been past president of NYSCAR, Upstate NY CCIM and Upstate NY SIOR. She serves on numerous community boards and organizations.Wilson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell and also holds a Master of Arts and MBA from Binghamton University.
Jones has been with the company since 2000 when he also came to the company after the merger with Robert Mead and Associates. Jones handles a broad range of real estate transactions including retail, office, industrial and investment with a focus on medical office sales and leases. Jones has done some of the largest transactions across Upstate New York and Northern Pennsylvania. Jones has consistently performed at a high level. Jones has made the Chairman’s Club, which represents the top 5% of sales agents across the entire company, for the years 2002, 2003, 2009, 2015 and 2020. ones is known for his extensive experience, expertise in all aspects of the business, his work ethic and his willingness to teach and mentor others. Jones is a graduate of Wilkes University.
Cook joined Pyramid Brokerage Company in 2016. In his short time in the business, Cook has excelled in the commercial real estate industry and has already completed a number of transactions. Cook has taken on various leadership roles such as leading the overall company’s semi-annual industrial council meetings. He has a reputation for his work ethic, persistence, positive attitude and willingness to help others. Cook belongs to a number of organizations such as president of the Vestal Rotary, GHS, Federal Credit Union Advisory Board, United Way Emerging Leaders, chairman, Ducks Unlimited and Business Network International. Cook is a graduate of Binghamton University, State University of NY School of Management with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
