Manhattan, NY Colliers Project Leaders | USA participated in Anchin’s industry-leading forum, “Future Forward 2020: What’s Next for New York Real Estate and Construction” on February 4th at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel.
The half-day conference brought together leading real estate owners and developers, construction executives and other key business decision-makers to discuss the rapidly transforming NYC market. Colliers leadership explored the benefits of project management and owner’s representative services in a panel that showcased the vast array of skills and experience project managers bring to the table to ensure robust scheduling, cost reductions and high performing design, among other value-adds, on the new projects shaping the city.
The session included remarks by David Horowitz, regional director; Frank Edwards, executive managing director; and Joe Bolano, managing director, all of Colliers Project Leaders in New York City. Throughout the session, panelists highlighted the benefits of utilizing project management services by owners. Owner’s representatives provide guidance, expertise and specialized industry skills to engage all members of the project team and reduce risks, as well as provide invaluable professional connections for developers.

The forum also featured keynote speaker Peter Riguardi, chairman and president of Jones Lang LaSalle’s
New York Tri-State Region, as well as panels of key players from across the industry. Panels included New Development Trends, Trends in Multifamily, P3 Partnerships and Design Build, as well as a breakout session focused on Project Management Services.
