Amherst, NY JLL Project and Development Services (PDS) completed Urban Edge Properties’ multimillion-dollar renovation of a 40,000 s/f retail property. The site was a former Toys ‘R’ Us store that now houses Burlington, a national apparel and home product retailer.
“Our five-month management oversight enabled the tenant to move in on time as specified in their agreement with Urban Edge” said Joseph Denn, vice president and greater New York region market leader for JLL PDS. “We came aboard after both the design and contract document phases of the project had been completed and a general contractor had been selected. Repairs to the exterior masonry façade posed a significant challenge given the budget and tight schedule, but we were able to successfully accomplish both.”
