Brooklyn, NY Meridian Properties, LLC has filed applications for a five-story, 32-unit mixed-use property at 8101 Third Ave. in the Bay Ridge neighborhood. The 32,000 s/f property is one of the first new residential developments to be built in the area in decades and will also include a small, ground-level commercial space. In addition, 8101 Third Ave. will feature an amenities package with fitness center, conference/business room, residents lounge, furnished roof deck, package room, bike room, virtual doorman, and on-site parking.

Designed by architecture firm Sam Wieder Associates (SWA) with one-and-two-bedroom units, exclusively, the layouts range from 550 s/f to 1,100 s/f and include a penthouse unit with wraparound terrace. The project, which has a 35-year, 421A tax exemption and 70/30 affordability component based on the local A.M.I., is projected for completion in 2021.
