Manhattan, NY SCG Retail completed a 4,875 s/f lease for Jungsik at 151 West 30th St. SCG represented the landlord, Lake Street, who owns the entire building. Ian Rice and Seth Kessler of SCG Retail represented property ownership. Casal San Andres of the Buckley Organization represented the tenant on this transaction.
“There’s 2,875 s/f of ground with 50ft. of street frontage along 30th. Another 2,000 s/f is on the lower level,” said Rice.
Jungsik plans to open in six months. Jungsik’s chef Yim calls its faire New Korean and has achieved a reputation for Korean culinary offerings. Their first location is in Tribeca.
“This is a great fit for the building,” said Kessler. “There’s activity in the area day and night, as well as weekends due to its proximity to Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. Jungsik has a tremendous reputation for quality and its unique spin on Korean cuisine. Lake Street is thrilled with the signing.”
