Sag Harbor, NY Joshua Roth, vice president, retail leasing for Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. has arranged two Long Island retail leases totaling 3,650 s/f.
In the first lease, Sag Harbor Books, a new bookstore founded and operated by local resident and bookseller Daniel Hirsch, leased 1,650 s/f at 7 Main St. near the corner of Bay St. The bookstore will be located on the ground floor of the building with 20 ft. of frontage along Main St.
“The arrival of a new, independent bookstore is welcome news for Sag Harbor’s vibrant Main St. corridor which already hosts an eclectic mix of stores and restaurants,” said Roth, who represented the landlord and tenant. “We are thrilled that Sag Harbor Books chose 7 Main St. as their new home, especially as we mark the unofficial start of summer with Memorial Day this weekend.”
Roth also signed a lease with Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, an Italian sneaker retailer, on their newest store location at 33 Newtown Ln. in East Hampton. The store will feature 2,000 s/f of ground floor space and 21-ft. of frontage on Newtown Ln. Manhattan Skyline, the landlord, was represented by Roth. The tenant was represented by Dan Harroch of Thor Retail Advisors.
“East Hampton is known for its many high-end brands and retailers, and a greatly sought-after shopping destination for style-savvy Long Islanders, Hamptonites and Manhattanites alike,” said Roth. “Golden Goose will be a terrific addition to the vibrant blend of retailers that reside along this fashionable thoroughfare, which receives great foot traffic.”
