For years, courts have provided guidance on the definitions of sexual harassment and sexually hostile work environment, and on the defenses available to employers. Their breakfast meeting provided an overview of what constitutes sexual harassment according to legislation, EEOC guidelines and case law. Dona Kahn, an attorney with the law firm of Anderson Kill, examined what employers should do when #MeToo claims land and outlined how to create an environment in which unwanted advances are less likely to happen -- and are dealt with fairly and effectively when they do.
