Tamir Shemesh, of Prudential Douglas Elliman was joined by his sales team to help the architect, developer, construction team, contributing artisans, new residents, their friends and families celebrate the completion of the stunning Landmark 17 condominium conversion - a project in which Shemesh has personally invested, as have several other notable figures, including Moby.
The entire Victorian Gothic building was gut-renovated during the conversion and now consists of 13 modern, ultra-luxury loft-like homes, most of which have sold and many of which are already occupied. Located directly across from Stuyvesant Sq. Park - and the charming Society of Friends meeting house and church flanking its west side - this five-story landmark is just steps from Gramercy Park and Union Sq.
The catered event was held in this former 19th century convent's dramatic chapel-turned-living room with hand-painted, 23 ft. vaulted ceilings lined with three original chandeliers. Bite-sized hors d'oeuvres, a fine assortment of cheeses, champagne, wine and a full bar were provided.
