Manhattan, NY Meridian Retail Leasing, the retail leasing division of Meridian Capital Group, has arranged a long-term lease for Mighty Bowl at 321 Amsterdam Aven. on the Upper West Side. President of New York retail leasing, James Famularo, and director, Ted Lundeen, represented the tenant and the landlord.
Located on Amsterdam Ave. between West 75th and West 76th Sts., 321 Amsterdam Ave. spans 650 s/f and features 15 feet of frontage. The property, which was formerly home to a Subway sandwich shop, will be Mighty Bowl’s fourth location in Manhattan, complementing their offerings in Greenwich Village, the Upper East Side, and Midtown East. 321 Amsterdam Ave. benefits from its proximity to popular eateries such as Sweetgreen, Joe & The Juice and Levain Bakery in addition to attractions including the Beacon Theater, JCC Manhattan, and Equinox gym. The property is also advantageously located a short distance from the 1, 2, 3, C and B subway lines.
Situated between Central Park and Riverside, Manhattan’s Upper West Side neighborhood is home to the American Museum of Natural History and Lincoln Center in addition to relaxed restaurants and a lively bar scene.
The Meridian retail leasing team has also arranged several other leases in the neighborhood, including Blue Bottle Coffee at 279 Amsterdam Ave., Recolte Bakery & Café at 300 Amsterdam Ave., Joe & The Juice at 343 Amsterdam Avenue, and The Owl’s Tail at 215 West 75th St.
“This stretch of Amsterdam Ave. is seeing tremendous activity from new and established food and beverage operators,” said Lundeen. “Mighty Bowl will be a welcomed addition to the mix.”
