Woodbury, NY The Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) of Long Island has honored Max Omstrom, an associate in Jones Lang LaSalle’s industrial services group in Melville, and Maxx Rochlin, an associate at The Rochlin Org. in Melville, with its 2018 Rising Star Awards.
The awards presented October 24th at the CIBS Annual Meeting at the Crest Hollow Country Club, recognize new, committed, and active sales people in the commercial real estate brokerage industry.
Omstrom, 31, is responsible for conducting various research assignments and participating in the marketing of various exclusive agency properties throughout the Long Island market.working along side his father, Doug Omstrom, a 28-year industry veteran. He joined JLL in March 2016 and since then has played an instrumental role in the successful completion of numerous key transactions in the Long Island market. Among his deals was the securing a new headquarters for College Hunks of Long Island; the 20,000 s/f warehouse relocation and expansion of GTS Distribution, a nationwide distributor of gaming, toys, sports and entertainment collectibles and the sale of an 11,180 s/f building. and is currently marketing a 50,000 s/f, multi-tenant industrial building. Omstrom received an Associate’s Degree of Science in Business Administration from SUNY-Morrisville College where he made both the Dean’s and President’s Lists and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Rochlin, 23, a resident of Melville, joined the Melville-based The Rochlin Organization, founded by his father, Adam, full time in 2016 after serving as an intern within the organization.His focus is maintaining and establishing contractual relationships for the company 3 million s/f Long Island leasing portfolio. Prior to joining The Rochlin Organization, Rochlin attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he studied Business and Mathematics.
