Wadler, Klein and Lopez of KD complete 20,000 s/f Williamsburg lease

Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates' (KD) Jacques Wadler, Bob Klein and Vincent Lopez arranged a 20,000 s/f lease for Root Capture, Inc. at the property located at 131 North 14th St. in the Williamsburg neighborhood, according to Neil Dolgin, executive VP of KD. Klein represented Root Capture, Inc. Wadler and Lopez represented the property owner, North 14th St. Corp. The lease encompasses a 19,000 s/f single-story warehouse and 1,000 s/f of outdoor space. The firm has a current Chelsea location. "Root Capture, Inc. sought top-notch space with natural light and high ceilings, and plans a renovation program to take advantage of the skylights, fantastic location and top amenities this property offers," Wadler said. "The KD team streamlined this transaction fully, creating value and a win-win situation for both the owner and the tenant." Williamsburg has gained a reputation as one of New York City's leading destinations for creative firms, offering a wide range of restaurants, shops and proximity to Manhattan. Nearby transportation options include the "L" and "J" subway lines, Williamsburg Bridge and Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates is a 104-year-old, Brooklyn-based real estate firm. In addition to providing brokerage and management services, Kalmon Dolgin has acquired $300 million of its own real estate assets within the past year alone, primarily industrial and medical/office properties.
