Hauppauge, NY Brian Sinsabaugh has joined Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP as an associate in the litigation and land use practice groups. Prior to joining Certilman Balin, Sinsabaugh practiced for three years as an associate at Curtin Law Firm, P.C. in Cazenovia where he handled an array of matters including commercial litigation, land use and zoning, contracts and lease agreements, and environmental law.

He worked as an associate in a New York City litigation firm where he provided legal advice and risk assessment to corporate clients in product liability and complex tort litigation matters.
He also served as legal counsel to the Morgans Hotel Group Co. where he prepared, reviewed and amended corporate governance documents, and implemented corporate level policies. While in New York City, he also worked at Axiom Global Inc. where he collaborated with internal stakeholders to prepare, negotiate and finalize derivative trading agreements affected by United States securities regulations.
While in law school, he served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Brian DeJoseph of the New York State Supreme Court in Syracuse. He was also a summer associate at a law firm in Binghamton where he gained experience in land use and zoning, employment and municipal law.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2013. He served as an executive editor for the Journal of Science & Technology Law and received the College of Law Gavel Award. From Clarkson University’s School of Business, he earned his Master of Business Administration in 2008, and his Bachelor of Science in 2007 with a major in International Business Management.
He is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
