Rochester, NY CPL has welcomed four new team members. Joining the local team are: James Basile, PE, who joins the civil engineering team as a senior associate, and Stephen Pyrkosz, who joins the architectural team. Joining the Albany team are: Michael Yamin, who joins the electrical engineering team, and Timothy O’Donoghue, PE, who joins the civil engineering team.
Basile will manage civil/site projects and help train and mentor younger team members. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, he joins CPL after serving as civil discipline leader at Bergmann Associates. Basile has an associate degree in civil technology from Monroe Community College and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, and holds professional licensure in N.Y. and Penn.
Pyrkosz will use the design-build delivery method on a variety of project types. With over 20 years of industry experience, he recently served as assistant project manager at Bergmann Associates. Pyrkosz has a Bachelor of Science in architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. He holds professional licensure in 17 states.
Yamin will assist with the design and drafting of electrical power systems, including lighting and fire alarm systems. Prior, he served as mechanical drafter for SMRT. Yamin has an Associate of Occupational Studies in electrical construction and maintenance from Hudson Valley Community College.
O’Donoghue will focus on planning, site development and utility design for stormwater, water main and sewerage projects. He has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from University at Buffalo and holds professional licensure in N.Y. and Mass.
