Manhattan, NY According to ATCO Properties & Management, Davos Brands LLC, a wine wholesaler and importer, has renewed its lease at 381 Park Ave. South, a boutique class A property in the Midtown South office district. Davos Brands encompasses 2,412 s/f on the 10th floor at the tower, which serves as the company’s headquarters. The firm has been based at the property since 2007.
There was no outside representation on behalf of the landlord or the tenant in the transaction. Asking rents for the space were $62 per s/f.
The lease renewal for Davos Brands continues a successful period of leasing activity at 381 Park Ave. South following leases from Breakaway Communications, Inc. and startup Ticketchain, LLC.
Davos Brands develops the highest quality, best-in-class wine and spirits brands. The Davos Brands premium portfolio currently consists of TYKU Sake, Sombra Mezcal, Astral Tequila and Aviation American Gin, a juniper berry-derived liquor owned by Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds.
Earlier this year, cloud-based communications solution provider Fuze Inc. relocated its New York offices to the building, and in 2016, Superfly Productions, a creative company that produces large-scale events such as the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee and the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco, established its new, 16,000 s/f headquarters at the property.
Constructed in 1909, the 210,000 s/f 381 Park Ave. South is close to Madison Square Park and several subway lines, including the N, R, Q and 6 trains. Other major tenants at the building include Stephen B. Jacobs Group, Goldstein, Rikon, Rikon & Houghton, P.C., Williams Lea and Travel Planners. The building is also home to famed bakery and restaurant Sarabeth’s Kitchen, which opened in 2012.
