Helmsley Spear moves headquarters to 8,200 s/f at 599 Lexington Ave.

Manhattan, NY Acording to Kent Swig, president of Helmsley Spear, the company has moved its headquarters to the entire 44th floor at 599 Lexington Ave., comprising 8,200 s/f.

The company’s new offices are in the architecturally renowned tower at the southeast corner of East 53rd St. and Lexington Ave. The building is also noted for its lobby art which contains major work by the prominent American artist Frank Stella.

The new offices have 360-degree city views. The building was built by Boston Properties and completed in 1986. It was designed by architect Edward Larrabee Barnes and is considered one of 20th Century New York’s finest office buildings.

599 Lexington rises 47 stories with major subway line access. The building’s tenant roster includes the law firms Shearman & Sterling, Reed Smith, and the Cowen Group, along with consultants such as Cornerstone Research and Huron Consulting Group.
