Rochester, NY CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for more than 40 years, has welcomed several hires. Joining the local team: Nicholas Bayer, EIT, as civil/environmental engineer and Karen Hurtado as administrative assistant. Joining the Binghamton team: Joanna Cesarano as administrative assistant.
As civil/environmental engineer, Bayer will focus on water and wastewater treatment design. Prior to joining CPL, he served as project engineer at Welliver and then took on the role of graduate research assistant for Noguera Research Group at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Bayer has a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as a master’s degree in environmental engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In her new role, Hurtado will provide administrative support to the firm in the form of office management, important clerical work, and scheduling meetings and events. Prior to joining CPL, she was a bilingual legal assistant at Cellino & Barnes P.C.
Cesarano will provide administrative support to the firm in form of office management, important clerical work, and scheduling meetings and events. Prior, she was an operations coordinator at Gannett.
