New York, NY According to Mitti Liebersohn, Avison Young NY president and managing director, Brandon Polakoff, Carly Weinreb, and Phillip Bowman have joined its growing team.
Polakoff becomes director, Weinreb becomes associate director and Bowman becomes associate of Avison Young. These three new hires also continue the expansion of the company’s rapidly growing multifamily investment sales practice in the New York City Metro Area. In recent weeks, Avison Young has aggressively increased its investment sales presence in this market, welcoming several prominent hires including James Nelson, principal and head of tri-state investment sales, along with James Kinsey, principal and director of tri-state investment sales.

Polakoff brings over 10 years of commercial experience and join Avison Young after working alongside James Nelson at Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as associate director of capital services. Polakoff played an integral role in Team Nelson’s sales listings at Cushman & Wakefield and oversaw sales with an aggregate value of over $2 billion across eight assets and has originated $93.3 million dollars in sales. Polakoff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College.
Weinreb brings over 9 years of commercial experience and also joins Avison Young after working together with James Nelson at Cushman & Wakefield, where she served as senior associate. As member of Team Nelson’s sales listings at Cushman & Wakefield, Weinreb has participated in over 100 successful transactions, adding to an aggregate value in excess of $1.4 billion. Weinreb holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Like Polakoff and Weinreb, Bowman also joins Avison Young after working together with James Nelson at Cushman & Wakefield, where he spent the last year as an associate working with James Nelson. He holds a Bachelor in Political Science and Economics from Colgate University.
