Wang and Yadav join Dewberry's Rochester office, expanding the firm's water resource capabilities

Dagang Wang, PhD, and Binod Yadav, recently joined Dewberry's office, bringing water resources experience to this leading civil, structural, water resources, and construction engineering and inspection firm. Wang has experience in hydrology and climate modeling, engineering consulting, flood simulation and control, data processing, and statistical analysis. Yadav recently analyzed the basin flood hydrology of Lake Norman near Charlotte, N.C., using HEC-HMS, including watershed response to probable maximum flood, and assessed the performance of the emergency spillway of Lake Norman Dam during a flood event. Wang and Yadav join Dewberry's nationwide water resources practice that includes over 30 years of floodplain mapping services to FEMA by more than 200 flood mapping engineers, geographers and support personnel. Wang received a doctorate degree in Hydrology and Water Resources from the University of Connecticut, a master's and bachelor's degree in Hydraulic Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, China. He is a member of the American Geophysical Union and American Meteorological Society. Yadav received a master's degree in Civil Engineering from Lamar University in Beaumont, Tex., and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering in Pulchowk, Nepal. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Nepal Engineering Association.
