Holmdel, NJ Hylan, a market leading provider of specialized communications engineering and construction services in New York, expansion into the Mid-Atlantic region through the acquisition of Down Under Construction (DUC). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
DUC is a communications contractor headquartered in Sterling, Va.

DUC company offers directional drilling, trenching, cable placement, engineering and permitting, and restoration services to support underground construction for communications and electrical infrastructure owned by fiber carriers, data center operators, and federal organizations. President Daryl Dunbar, who founded DUC in 1993, will remain in the same position post-closing. DUC will continue to operate under the Down Under Construction name.
