How did you get your start in your current field?

Architecture has been on my mind since I was a child. My parents moved to the U.S. back in the 80’s and were originally from El Salvador. In 2001, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit the country and crushed the infrastructure. I remember my mom praying for our family back home and as I watched the news, I saw villages and small cities destroyed with no shelter around for the people. This motivated me to start my career and in the future try to help third world countries with their structures and homes. 

Who or what do you attribute to your success?

My wife has always been an inspiration to me. She has pushed me to further and bigger things. She always reminds me never to be comfortable where you are at. To always dream bigger and obtain higher goals. 

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I would like to be fully licensed architect in the state of New York and start to travel and help other countries in need. 

How do you manage the work/life balance?

I believe family should be top priority before anything. Spending quality time with them is a key success to work harder and dream bigger.

What are your professional goals for 2018?

Professional goals for 2018 I would like to continue and pursue my architectural license in near future.
