Southampton, NY Hudson managing principal Jason Gerbsman has arranged a 1,500 s/f lease for Ruby & Jenna in the former Calypso space. The new location at 24 Jobs Ln. is the fourth lease that Gerbsman has arranged for the mother-daughter-owned women’s fashion chain and its twelfth store in the tri-state area, joining others in Greenwich, CT, Marlton, NJ, Closter, NY, and Roslyn, NY.
The new store is a relocation for Ruby & Jenna, which was seeking a larger space in that market.
“Ruby & Jenna is a ‘best-in-class’ ladies apparel chain, with a core focus on quality real estate in higher-end demographics,” said Gerbsman. “While many retailers today are struggling to find their identity and closing stores, Ruby & Jenna has found its niche and is thriving. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such a dynamic and relevant brand. The Lubel family is an absolute pleasure to work with and I am excited to relocate them in the heart of the exclusive Southampton shopping district.”
Ruby & Jenna owner Barbara Lubel said, “We pride ourselves on providing fashion to youth and youth-minded buyers that is trendsetting and fun. Jenna and I carefully seek out designers that don’t mass manufacture, which reinforces the unique quality of our brand.”
The store is located between Main St.and Pond Ln. The lease term is five years. The landlord, Pan-Brothers Associates, was represented in-house by Steve Politis.
