Manhattan, NY Cookie and Stanley Chera, founder of Crown Acquisitions received the National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award at the 49th Annual A Winter’s Evening Real Estate and Construction Industries Dinner Dance at the Grand Hyatt New York on Saturday, December 9th, 2017. The event has raised $47 million since 1994 for National Jewish Health, the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. The event also included the induction of Gary Jacob, executive vice president of Glenwood Management Corp., into the National Jewish Health Council of National Trustees. Some of New York’s most notable industry leaders, including dinner chairs Lloyd Goldman of BLDG Management Co., Inc., Stephen Siegel of CBRE, honorary chair Larry Silverstein of Silverstein Properties, Inc.; and executive chair Wendy Siegel, took part in honoring the Cheras.
Funds raised at the event support the newly established Cookie and Stanley Chera Fund for COPD Care and Research at National Jewish Health.
