North Hills, NY Another milestone was met at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Long Island, North Hills, with a topping out celebration for phase 2 of the condominium community, 15 months after its November 2016 groundbreaking. The project architect is Lessard Design.
The $400 million Ritz-Carlton Residences project is a gated-community with park-like grounds, a 25,000 s/f clubhouse and individual condominiums on par with buildings in places like Manhattan, Los Angeles and Miami. In keeping with The Ritz-Carlton brand, residents’ needs are attended to by The Ritz-Carlton ladies and gentlemen with an enviable range of services and amenities.
The topping out of the phase 2 construction is significant for those who have already purchased phase 2 condominiums. To date, 35 of the 120 units have already been sold, with another eight sales pending. Phase 1, which opened in the fall of 2016 with 124 residences on the 17-acre site, is almost fully occupied. This response has more than validated the vision of Scott Rechler, a Long Island native and CEO and chairman of RXR Realty, which is developing the project. Phase 2 construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2019.
“The Ritz-Carlton Residences, North Hills has brought a one-of-a-kind luxury living experience to Long Island,” said Joe Graziose, EVP of residential development and construction at RXR. “With the tremendous success we’ve had in phase 1, it comes as no surprise that we’re experiencing the same momentum in phase 2.”
Residents enjoy 24-hour concierge service and amenities. The clubhouse features places for entertaining, a lounge and bar for residents, board room, theater-style screening room, game & billiards room, and a fitness center and yoga studio which features saunas, steam showers, and indoor & outdoor swimming pools. The property offers a walking path, pond, and gardens. Individual residences in phase 2 will be based on a variety of floor plans that range from 1,600 to 3,800 s/f, including two and three-bedroom options. As in phase 1, each residence will have either a private balcony or terrace, high ceilings, gourmet kitchens, bathrooms and two parking spaces. In addition to the clubhouse amenities, each residential building features its own club room, fitness center and yoga studio.
Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has been the project’s exclusive sales and marketing team on the project since its inception.
“The ongoing, strong interest in The Ritz-Carlton Residences, North Hills sends an irrefutable message that there are many discerning buyers looking to live on Long Island who desire the worry-free home ownership, luxury amenities and exceptional hotel services that The Ritz-Carlton Residences delivers so well,” said Patricia Petersen, president & chairman of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s. “We look forward to continuing to work side by side with the RXR team to bring Scott’s vision to fruition with the successful marketing of Phase 2.”
North Hills Mayor Marvin Natiss continues to enthusiastically support the project. “From the start, The Ritz-Carlton Residences have been a wonderful and seamless addition to the North Hills community. They are exemplary neighbors and friends.”
